Windaroo and Beenleigh are situated at the northern end of the Gold Coast City. The unique position of these suburbs, half way between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, makes it an ideal area in which to live.
The Beenleigh district is well known for its sugar industry and Rum Distillery and has a history
that extends back to the days of early settlement. Windaroo, relatively new in comparison, was
established about twenty years ago. Now well known especially in golfing circles,
the Windaroo golf course estate was originally a dairy farm.
