Activity 4.4

This was an interesting activity. I used a free background image from google of the windy desert of UAE. I imported the recorded Haiku from last activity. Had to adjust the key frames to synchronise the sound with the animation text. I gave a fading effect to the sound from Flash.

Ideas and skills gained from completing it

I have set my sound to stream. I have learnt from the tutorials that stream synchronizes the sound for playing on a website. Flash forces animation to keep pace with stream sounds.

I have used Gigi font for my Haiku as this font has a wavering effect and is very soft and gives the effect of wind that is blowing. The curls in the font remind me of puffs of the wind. There is movement in the font

While doing this activity I learnt how to stop the movie from looping.

One way is to add an action script to the last frame to stop the movie or this can also be done from the File - Publish settings.

Using Flash Action Scripts high level of Interactivity can be added to the movies.
